At present 3 Milk Chilling Centers are functioning at Perembalur, Karur and Jayakondam with the capacity of 500000 LPD 30000 LPD and 2000 LPD respectively. It Is also proposed for 2 new Chilling Centers at Manapperai and Vilangudi with the cape city of 50.000 LPD each. For the Manapperai Chilling Centre to the total estimate of “.22.70 Lakhs. a sum of 10 Lakhs has been received as 50% grant from the Dist Rural Development Agency, Trichy.
