Job timing: Full timing
Basic Responsibilities:
* Reporting to the Capgemini project manager & providing input for all the relevant project management processes (progress update, % completion etc).
* Developing a good understanding of the Business and System(s) under test
* Fully understand the project requirements and quickly provide effort estimates
* Design and document test cases / scripts based on the functional specifications
* Document test procedures, test steps and expected results to ensure maximum test coverage
* Adhere to the project testing schedules, and flag immediately if there is a risk of slippage
* Setup and execute test plan and test cases independently or via designated test management tool
* Record test results and prepare test summary reports
* Report and track defects in the issue tracking system
* Prepare & distribute daily/weekly status reports
Primary Skills (Must have)
* Bachelor or Master Degree in, Computer Science/ IT / Electronics / Engineering / Physics.
* 5-8 years of experience in software testing
* Experience in handling testing of ‘fund accounting’ applications or ‘multi accounting’ applications is a must
