The Chennai Metro Rail Limited (CMRL), a joint venture between Government of India and the Government of Tamil Nadu builds and operates Chennai Metro. The system has a mix of underground and elevated stations and uses standard gauge. The services operate daily between 06:00 and 22:00 with a varying-frequency of 10-20 minutes. The trains are composed of four coaches which are extendable to six in the future.

Age limit range: Maximum age limit will be 30 Years. The Upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST; 3 years for OBC, 10 Years for Persons with Disabilities (15 years for SC/ST PWD’s & 13 years for OBC PWD’s) and for Ex-S as per Govt. of India rules. Candidates Relaxation in Upper Age limit will be provided as per Govt. Rules. Check more details in notification.
